Zonk Review Game

Zonk is an educational game for kids of all ages that makes learning easy and fun! Zonk began in the classroom as a way to make quiz review a fun, engaging experience. It is also relevant to your students' needs, because of our easy-to-use web-based quiz creator. In the classroom, you can use Zonk as a single-student review exercise or as an exciting team-based game for the whole class! Zonk combines a solid review game with just enough of a "luck factor" to keep students interested in the outcome until the last question is answered.

  •  Easily create quizzes specific to your lesson plans.
  •  Help Students stay focused and enjoy learning!
  •  View results for each quiz you have created.
  •  Use "Team mode" to play as a class or have students review individually in "Single-Player".

Here are some step by step instructions that will help you enter content into the Zonk Review Game.

Zonk Review Game

Competitive Team Game

To play Zonk as a competitive team game, simply choose "Team Mode" from the profile menu inside the app. Once you choose the team names and the quiz to review, each team will answer questions in turn. Encourage teams to discuss their answers among themselves, but quietly! Because if one team misses a question, then the other team has the chance to choose the correct answer and steal the board for themselves!

On each team's last question, they will get the chance to choose as many cards as they would like, adding a strategic element to the end of the game. The team that's behind has a chance to come from way back to take the lead, and the team that's ahead can build up a huge lead as long as they stay away from that pesky Zonk!

Note: team mode is currently only available on the iOS version of the app.

Single-Player Game

The single-player game is easy to play kids love it! You'll love it too, because your students will be playing the exact same quizzes at home that you use in the classroom. When your student gets a question correct, they get to choose up to 3 point-scoring cards, and they can "bank" the points they've earned at any time. Watch out for the ZONK, though! It will take away all the points earned so far on this turn. Either way, it's on to the next question!

On the last question, you're not limited to just three point cards you can "push your luck" as far as you dare. How many points can you score?
